Every care has been taken to make uploading and publishing of data on Janus as straightforward as possible. Janus has been set up to accept EAD data created by the following processes:- Cantab; Janus online form; A2A; and ArchivesHub. Participants should be able to upload and publish material following the step by step instructions below. Some tasks, such as installing software to upload material (if necessary) and getting a password will only need to be done once, while others, such as validating an EAD file, will need to be done every time a new file is uploaded. New users should click here to find out how to get filespace on Janus and how to connect for the first time before uploading files. Although these pages are designed to help, we also strongly advise you to join the Janus discussion list where you can seek advice from fellow users. |
