Cantab is an ISAD(G) compliant database for the hierarchical cataloguing of archives, developed by Cambridge archivists using the Windows application Microsoft Access. Among its output functions is the ability to generate EAD files acceptable to Janus. The latest version is Cantab 1.3 (March 2004) which works with Access 97, Access 2000 and Access 2002.
