` The record of a student's date of return to Cambridge after an exeat . Hence Rediit (or Redit) Book, kept by a Tutor or Bursar. The exeat and rediit dates are used to compute whether a student has kept a term . Earlier Redit books recorded the movements not only of students but also of the Master and Fellows .
