` The assembly of regent masters , the ultimate executive and legislative body of the university; its composition and powers have varied widely over the centuries. See also Non-Regent House . The term ‘Regent House’ is still sometimes applied to the University Combination Room situated in the room in the Old Schools where the regent house met before the Senate House was built.
