` Pendlebury Library

` The library of the Music Faculty; founded in 1880 with the gift to the Fitzwilliam Museum by Richard Pendlebury of 100 volumes of printed music, a gift repeated in subsequent years until the collection amounted to some 2000 volumes. It was separately established under the Music Faculty in 1926.
