` Approved Society

` A collegiate body which is affiliated to the University and can matriculate students only under certain conditions. Approved Societies commonly pass by way of being an Approved Foundation to full collegiate status. The only Approved Society at the moment is Homerton College which is limited to admitting candidates for degrees in education, and for the BA in Education Studies.
