70 Grant to John Seyntwary, John Rade, Henry Brown and John Ricks, clerks, and John Rolff of Barton, husbandman, of 1½ acres of arable (cf. 57). One half acre lies in Brache Felde at Shortebrache between land of Lord Grey de Wilton (N) and land lately of Robert Fan (S) and abuts (E) on Brachehauen; another half acre lies in the same field in Shortebrache between land of the said Lord Grey (S) and land in the tenure or Richard Rolff and abuts (E) on land lately of the said Robert and (W) on land lately in the tenure of Richard Dyke; one half acre lies in the same field between land lately of the said Robert (N) and a boundary called Comberton Balk (S) and abuts (W) on Reed Meadow. No witnesses named but note on dorse of delivery of seisin on the same day in the presence of John and Richard Alger of Cambridge, John and Richard Aunger of Barton and the scribe, Thomas Thirleby.
