The acre lies in Le Townfield between land of the Prior of Anglesey and land of the Rector of Stow and abuts on a headland of the said Prior. Agreement for sale to CCCC of Brians Close (2½ acres), Dovehouse Close (2½ acres), and 80 acres of arable land, meadow and leas, scattered in the fields, with the liberty of sheepgate and fold-course belonging to a messuage called Brians. The document records the assent of John Russell, as lord of the manor of 'Holmehall in Stowquy'; the exclusion of a watermill from the liberty; the previous ownership of Sir Francis' father, Sir John Hynde, and the former occupation by John Sterne and Thomas Smith on a 40-year lease.

Notarial extract from will leaving £150 to CCC, after his wife's decease, to purchase freehold lands to support exhibitions for 2 poor scholars and a bachelor exhibition. The poor scholars are to be, for preference, the chapel clerk and the janitor, are to receive 1s a week and are to exhibit Hebrew exercises to the Hebrew Lecturer once a quarter; the Bachelor exhibition is worth 50s a year and is to help a poor scholar, skillful in the Hebrew language to take his degree of B.A. Annotated: Wherewith the lands at Stow Quoy were purchased rented at £4 per annum.
