1 Grant to Richard Marshall (Marescallus) of a yard with a dovecote on the King's Ditch between the Ditch and land of the said Richard Marshall. The yard lies between land formerly John Creving's and land of Stephen le Cupere. Gersuma: 40s; rentcharge, 1d to donor. Witnesses: Thomas Tuliet; Walter Crocheman; William Tuliet; Anger le Rus; Robert Hubert; Nicholas Childman; Simon Pistor; Thomas le Rus, baker; Adam Le Faner; Thomas Get; Richard de Stowe, baker; Reginald de Fordham.

4 Counterpart of lease to William Hill, farrier, and Margaret his wife of a shop with a solar. The shop lies between a tenement of St John's (N) [as in 2 and 3] and a tenement of the said William (S) and abuts (W) on Bridge Street and (E) on a tenement of the said William, and is four and three-quarter rods in length and three and a half rods in width. Witnesses: John Coke, mayor; Thomas Hunning; Robert Hungerford; Nicholas Hilton; Geoffrey Fisher, bailiffs. Endorsed: Iam habitat Thomas Ventris, anno. 1551.

5 Counterpart of lease to Peter Bright, stationer, of a messuage in decay and a void ground at the east end of St Sepulchre's church for 40 years at an annual rent of 3s 4d. The property lies between a messuage and ground of St John's College on either side and abuts (E) on the King's Ditch and (W) on St Sepulchre's churchyard and is 191 feet 7 inches long, 22 feet 3 inches wide at the west head and 18 and a half feet at the east end.
