The tenement lies between a tenement of Thomas Hulcott, lately of William Alrethy (W) and a tenement once of Simon Bentybow, later of John Belton and lately of Henry Simson and now of John Cadge (E) and abuts (N) on the highway and (S) on a tenement of CCCC called 'le Cardinals hatt' (dimensions given).
Extensive note on dorse in 16C hand concerning a meeting between the Master and Messrs Gill, Fanne and at the backside of the Cardinal's Hat for the 'tryall of the iiijs rent payed by Mr Gyll for his barne ende standyng in part upon the college grownd' and memorandum that in the lease of the Cardinal's Hat there is an 'error in the buttlement where it butteth the ground at the west upon the cocke grownd where it should be, by Gill's deed, upon our own ground'
