Peter Cheke of Cambridge, gentleman, and Agnes his wife, kinswoman and heir of the late Kateryn Miles, widow, and late owner of the above property
of a barn in Newnham with small adjacent croft lying lengthwise E/W from a lane to the highway leading from Newnham to Barton Bridge; and five acres of arable in the West Fiel' in Cambridge beyond 'le Broke' [Bin Brook], between two balks on either hand, abutting N. on the common brook and S. on 'Le Leys'. The grant is conditional on the fulfilment of the last will and testament of the late Katerine Miles as expressed in accompanying schedule (130b), with reversion to Corpus Christi College.
The two copies to be kept by the Master of CCC and the churchwardens of St Benedict's respectively.
