Content and context

The lands comprise one garden next St Edward's hostel recently in the tenure of Robert Joyner and a garden next the river bank in the tenure of John Wells, clerk, and a tenement in Gt St Mary's parish called 'le Horshead' on the High St., abutting on School Lane to the N. and on a tenement of the Master and Brethren of the Hospital of St John the Evangelist to the S., and on a parcel of land proposed for the scholars of the King's College of the BVM and St Nicholas to the W.,

And also another tenement recently in the tenure of Geoffrey Neville in Milne Street abutting on the said site of the proposed college recently in the tenure of the same Geoffrey Neville to the N. and the tenement of Agnes Jacob to the S.

And also another piece of land in Milne Street recently in the tenure of Willliam Lincoln, and a cottage or house and garden next to Ploteslane, otherwise Nutlane between the tenements of the proposed college lately the property of Agnes Jacob.
