W Nalder Williams, a Fellow of Selwyn College, was appointed Assistant Secretary in 1914. As Secretary of the Syndicate when the Norwood Report on Education was produced in 1941 he served on the Secondary School Examinations Council's Committee on Curriculum and Examinations from 1941-1943 and helped prepare the Report published in 1943.
