Oxford & Cambridge Schools Examination Board

In 1968 the National Foundation for Educational Research (NFER) carried out a study of the grade severity/leniency of different examination boards for each O Level subject. The study attempted to compare the standards required for the award of CSE Grade 1 with those required for a GCE O Level pass.
