Mr Burrell willed that his property should be given to the Patronage Fund, and on his death in 1843 the College received the net sum of £7662. 15s. 0d. This was allowed to accumulate until the Patronage Fund was able to purchase the advowsons of Marnhull (1873), Newent (1874) and Little Shelford (1879). |
