1 Letter from Otokar Chlub of the 'Commission for the Organisation of the International Conference for Comeniologues in Prague, 1957', inviting Joseph Needham to the Conference and asking for his views on its organisation. The documents also include Needham's notes list the main themes of the conference and the names of British delgates. He also notes that he should write to Dr. Josef Brambora 'about the Chinese children's encyclopaedic picture-books'.

Joseph Needham's letter describes his interest in Comenius and a recent visit to Prague with Dorothy Needham.
