Most of the documents relate to a paper by Joseph Needham and Lu Gwei-Djen entitled 'Some Aspects of Forensic Medicine in Ancient and Mediaeval China'. The paper was first read at the International Congress of Forensic Medicine, Rome, Italy, September 1973. A Revised version was then read at Venice, Italy, 1985.
