The documents also include a related letter from Ho at Griffith University, Brisbane, Australia, about the incorrect use of an illustration from the 'Wu Ching Tsung Yao' [???? / Wu Jing Zong Yao], (24 April 1980).

Needham notes that these were 'probably xeroxed for H P-Y [Ho Peng-Yoke] or WL [Wang Ling]'. Most of the original documents are catalogued in SCC2/139-151. The documents also include photocopies of Tenny L. Davis, 'Early Pyrotechnics'', ('Ordnance, 1948); copy of Nambo Heizo's article, 'Who Invented Explosives?', ('Journal of the Industrial Explosives Society, Japan', 1967), and English translation of same.
