Photographs taken by Joseph Needham in Nanking (Nanjing) ??? when he and Lu Gwei-djen (Lu Guizhen) ??? visited her family and friends there. There are also some of SBSCO staff members taken during March 1946 before they left Chungking (Chongqing) ???. The films and their photographs were not originally labelled in strict chronological order. Some sections of the negatives were not developed because there was no image on the negative or because any images present were severely damaged or indistinct. No entry has been made for these. |
