Content and context

Edward Coleridge was educated at Oxfrod, graduating MA in 1825. He became a Tutor and Fellow of Eton College and was appointed Vicar of Maple-Durham in 1862. He was the uncle of John Coleridge Patteson, Bishop of Melanesia.
