Details that her and her husband Norman have children together and through previous marriages. Reports the death of their son Ross Norman, blaming Asian flu and H. bombs. Refers to the piece Lyn wrote about her mother in the school magazine, and describes her mother's last days. Mentions a 1948 tea party at Overseas House, attended by her mother, Bridget, Isabel Dean and Nita Rennet. Recalls Dot Nicol. Asks Lyn is she wrote the Monologue.
