1 ALS to Lyn Newman. Introduces herself as Betty Duncan's sister. Draws Lyn's attention to the death of Miss Thirde and invites her to write a commemorative article for the Albyn School F. P. Club committee to put in the school magazine. Describes the new arrangements in the school which Miss Oliver handed over to the F. P. Club. Reports that their chairman is Professor Hunter, their vicechairman is Mrs Fowlie (Isobel Donald) and the headmistress is Mrs Walker.

3 ALS to Lyn Newman. Regards Lyn's complaint about the quotation from "So Much Love, So Little Money" in the Albyn School centenary book. Refers Lyn to her letter of 9 May 1966 in which she gives her permission. Notifies her that the author Professor Duthie is in the Aberdeen Infirmary with cancer and hopes that Lyn will take this into consideration and give the matter up. Sends her own apologies.

Suggests an errata slip to be inserted into all undistributed copies as well as circulated to those who have already received a copy. Asserts that her prose is as considered as poetry. Suggests that they could post the books more cheaply if they used Jiffy book bags instead of zip sided ones.
