37.2 A.L.s., from Paris. Discusses his failure to get funding from the Rockefeller Foundation, his future plans with regard to his thesis and the possibility of his coming to England, which if happens he will take up LJM's offer of hospitality. Discusses a couple of mathematical problems.

37.3 A.L.s., from Paris. Gives thanks for a letter giving advice on a paper, which he will now publish. Believes that LJM could see the papers of Siegel at Frankfurt.
