Renews his subscription to, and is complementary of, a journal, and notes that he has been subscribing since its inception in 1842. Gives news on his work on on the Roxburghe Ballads for the Ballad Society, including all the drawings and etchings. Discusses the unfortunate bias of the 'News' towards radicalism.
