Refers to Glover's 'growing reputation in Free Church circles and in connection with the Passive Resistance movement' to 'the iniquitous [1902 Education] Act'. Discusses scholarships offered to Canadian students by Cambridge colleges. Asks Glover to ascertain whether St John's would found such a scholarship. Sends news of Queen's University, Kingston, including the University's adoption by the Presbyterian Church, Macnaughton's return as McComb's replacement as Professor of Church History, growth of the campus, his teaching programme, the new Baptist Church on Johnston Street in Kingston, the Methodist Minister, Elliot's PhD. Newspaper cutting reports the Annual Meeting of the Y.M.C.A. at which Pike was elected Religious Chairman.
