Papers of Sir Cecil Beaton

Title Autograph letter signed to Beaton.
Reference A1/542/47
Covering Dates (Letter undated.)
Extent and Medium 5p; paper
Content and context

It is hard for her to write about Margaret as she was told on August 4 that she had left the office on August 1. Reminisces about Margaret's life. Perhaps Beaton already knew about her accident when she tried to reach him. Is so glad that he liked the V-boys. Beaton has written to Annie McNulty, who is a "practical remarkable handsome Catholic woman". Asks him to write to her about Marseille.
