Papers of Sir Cecil Beaton

Title Typescript letter signed to Beaton, from New York.
Reference A1/542/27
Covering Dates 20 June 1967
Extent and Medium 1p; paper
Content and context

Beaton's last letter was just divine. Asks what has happened to Dorothy Carrington and Frances Rose. Found this weekend, after 20 years, the book that Beaton gave her: Dorothy Carrington's "The Traveller's Eye". Alex made great layouts for the Ogilvys and they are in "great good luck" to have these beautiful pictures.
