Title Typescript letter signed to Beaton, from New York.
Reference A1/542/25
Covering Dates 2 June 1967
Extent and Medium 1p; paper
Content and context

This is Lesley Blanch Gary's article on Patchouli. They have had a terrible time having it done. Mona's bedroom always smells divinely of it. Feels Beaton could do an entrancing illustration for the article. Feels there should be an "extremely beautiful" cashmere shawl. Talks about the most beautiful cashmere shawl she ever saw. Asks Beaton to let her know if he would like to do this picture.
