1 Autograph letter signed to Beaton, from Reddish House. Was sorry to hear that Beaton will be away from the garden all summer. Thought he would write and tell him how things are getting on. Describes the garden in the springtime. He and his wife wish Beaton a very happy Easter. They are both well and trying hard to catch up on the garden work.
4p; paper.

2 Autograph letter signed to Beaton, from Reddish House. Writes to give Beaton an account of things in the garden up to date. The weather has been so awful that the flowers take ages to come out only to be spoiled by the rain. Describes the garden. Looks forward to seeing Beaton walking in the garden again. He and his wife send their best wishes.
4p; paper.
