1 Typescript letter signed to Beaton. Thanks Beaton for his letter. Plans to be in London for three or four days in early July. Disusses plans for Beaton's exhibit. Asks whether October, November or December would be more suitable. Feels that people only buy "agreable [sic] and decorative things", and is confident that they could do exceedingly well.
1p; paper.
21 Apr. 1956
2 Typescript letter signed to Beaton. Arrives in London on July 2nd and is staying with Mary Lee and Douglas Fairbanks. Will contact Beaton immediately to discuss the exhibit. Asks him to let him know whether the first or the latter part of November is best. It would not be too early for Beaton to send photographs of himself and some of his works for the publicity.
1p; paper.
21 May 1956
3 Typescript letter signed to Beaton. Asks Beaton to let them have a list of his friends to whom he wants exhibition invitations sent. Hopes he does not mind the publicity they are giving him at Carlton House.
1p; paper.
13 Sept. 1956
4 Typescript letter signed to Beaton. Discusses a problem with the American customs. It seems that anything to do with theatre is dutiable to the amount of 10%. Has said that some of the things were executed in the US and are being returned here, but proof is needed. If Beaton can furnish such evidence over $100 in duties can be saved.
1p; paper.
11 Oct. 1956-` 1956
5 Typescript letter signed to Beaton. Sends Beaton good wishes for his exhibition in London. Gigi opens here on Thursday and by all accounts is a smash hit. Would like to show a combined exhibition of Gigi and Vanessa sketches, and settle a date for it with Beaton. He must know by now when he is returning to New York.

13 May 1958
6 Typescript letter signed to Beaton. Asks Beaton to let him know as soon as possible about reserving time for the Gigi-Vanessa exhibit. November or December would be the perfect month. Hears Beaton's party was marvellous. Will be in Paris from 27th June until 4th July.

7 Typescript letter signed to Beaton. The crate arrived from England but was so big it had to be sent to a storage house for inspection. Received Beaton's letter the same day as the package with the "Quadrille" and "Lady Windermere's Fan" groups. Is distressed that Gaither has abandoned "My Royal Past". Gives Beaton news from New York.

8 Typescript letter signed to Beaton. Asks Beaton to call him. Has ordered the invitations in Florence and they should be here fairly soon. Wonders if Beaton saw the enclosed, which appeared in Cholly Knickerbocker a while back.

9 Typescript letter signed to Beaton. Has a customer willing to buy the Laurette Taylor sketch for $300. Would Beaton consent to this? Asks him to let him know soon. Is happy to hear that Beaton loves California and his life there. Hopes to see him when he comes through New York.

10 Autograph letter signed to Beaton, from New York. As Beaton is going to be in New York this autumn with "My Royal Past" would he consider having an exhibit at his gallery? He must have many drawings and journals. Chico's show closed yesterday and did very well. If an exhibit was started in time, there could be lots of publicity and he is confident it could be a big success.
2p; paper.
15 Apr.
11 Autograph letter signed to Beaton, from Firenze. The date of Beaton's exhibition is set to Monday Nov. 26th for 2 weeks. Feels that it will be a great success. Is having the cards printed here as it is cheaper and he knows they do things well. Shall be back in New York on September 2nd.
