1 Autograph letter signed to Beaton. Is horrified to hear of Beaton's horrible experience. Supposes he is lucky to escape with his life. Sympathises with the loss of his equipment. Hopes he will spend Christmas at Send. Asks him to give her a ring when he feels strong enough.

2 Autograph letter signed to Beaton. Says that Beaton makes California sound "most unenviable". The summer here has been pretty lousy. Tells Beaton about the dinners and dances she has been to. The season "seems to have brought forth no romances only splits". Tells Beaton about a Russian ballet group who came to visit and perform. Informs him of her summer plans. Sends her love.
