Since last meeting with Beaton, has been to Colombia and has just returned from France where they were shooting extensions for the new Hitchcock film. Found Beaton's letter and wonderful photographs. They are the best that have ever been taken of her. Mr. Aldrich mentioned Beaton's play to her but never sent her a manuscript. Would love to read it. Her life belongs to M.G.M. until next summer. Suggests Beaton speaks to her agent, as he knows more about her situation with the studio. |
