Autograph letter signed to Beaton, from Berkshire. Was in the midst of discussing the Duchess of Portland when Princess Anne popped her head round the door to tell her that they had won a race somewhere. Is returning to Buckingham Palace next Tuesday and will re-open the conversation. Enjoyed his visit to Beaton's house in Pelham Place. Reminisces about their conversations. 4p; paper. |

Typescript letter signed to Beaton, from London. Is sending Beaton a sketch of Gaby Deslys that he has done. Does not like the sketch as the colouring is crude and heavy looking, but if Beaton can use it for his collection, he would be delighted for him to accept it. 1p; paper. |
