Autograph letter signed to J.C. Adams. RS vexed that JCA has not been appointed to the Nautical Almanac. The system of appointment is imperfect, and Sir J. G. should not have appointed anyone without taking advice. Hopes that Cambridge may invite JCA to lecture on physical astronomy.
