| Most records relating to the foundation and history of the College are stored at the University Library, but some remain in the College Library, which also holds the personal papers of several alumni. Modern records are stored onsite and administered by the individual departments of the College. Useful books on the history of Queens' include: The architectural history of the University of Cambridge, and of the colleges of Cambridge and Eton: Volume 2 by Robert Willis and John Willis Clark (Cambridge University Press, 1988).
