This series contains over 100 files of correspondence between W.J.H. ('Sebastian') Sprott and his friends and colleagues. Some of the most substantial files consist of correspondence with Dora Carrington, E.M. Forster, Gerald Heard, Henry Festing Jones, Ottoline Morrell and G. Lytton Strachey, but there are also several items from the combined members of the Bloomsbury group. These include communications from Vanessa Bell, Roger and Margery Fry, David Garnett, Duncan Grant, Rosamond Lehmann, the Sitwells and the Woolfs.
All letters are addressed to Sprott unless otherwise indicated.
