Reginald William Pole (1887 - 1971) was educated at Reading and Corpus Christi, Cambridge; he transferred to King's College in 1907 with a Choral Scholarship. As an undergraduate his main interest lay in the theatre. He emigrated to California after the war, where he produced plays, wrote music and lectured to universities and clubs.
The papers contain published and unpublished writings by Reginald Pole, printed material relating to productions, and photographs.
The papers were given to the College by Miss M. Walter in July 1990.
