Content and context

Manuscript copy of a newspaper account of a lecture on Rupert Brooke given by A.J.B. Wace, Director of the English School, Athens. Possibly a translation for Mary Ruth Brooke of the Greek version. The lecture includes a reference to E.B. Osborn 'The New Elizabethans: a first selection of the lives of young men who have fallen in the Great War' (John Lane: London, 1919) and thus must have been written in 1919 or thereafter.

This file is the property of the Brooke Trustees and has been deposited at King's College, Cambridge.
