Content and context

Typescript prompt copy, much annotated in pencil in an unidentified hand, with two sets of names inscribed against dramatis personae (neither of which is the cast of first British performance, produced by Viola Tree on 19 May 1916). A typed letter, signed dated 9 Jan. 1928 has been inserted at the front relating to the loan of a copy for performance. Rupert Brooke's name and address has been inscribed [? in Dudley Ward's hand] on the first page, as has that of Viola Tree [in a different hand].
