Garner, of Bodley and Garner, 22 Apr. 1898, in the hand of the recipient, concerning a projected new altar. 4. Autograph letter signed from T. Garner to MRJ, 16 May 1899, concerning a model for the new altar, and the choice of a hanging instead of a reredos. 5. Austen Leigh concerning the effects of the newly-installed model of the altar, and the different materials in which the real thing could be executed, involving an excursus on the legality of stone altars under Canon Law in England.

Material concerning the service of dedication for the West window, and the College Feast and entertainment of the same day, 22 Apr. 1879, including a printed pamphlet by the glaziers, Clayton and Bell, describing the design of the window; apparently from the papers of Herbert James, MRJ's father. The file also includes an autograph letter signed from Charles F. Bell to MRJ, 19 Nov. 1893, concerning a project for the photographing of the windows in the Chapel.

Autograph letter, signed 'An Oxford Graduate', to the Editor of 'The Cambridge Review', complaining about the standard of behaviour of undergraduates attending services in King's Chapel, 23 Nov. 1891. 2. Autograph letter signed from Clara Paget of 2 St Peter's Terrace, Cambridge, to the Provost [Augustus Austen Leigh], 26 Nov. [1891], expressing disagreement with the above complaint, as published in 'The Cambridge Review'. 3. Autograph letter, signed 'A Visitor to Cambridge', to the Editor of 'The Cambridge Review', 24 Jan. [1892], making a similar complaint to that in item 1 above.

Programme for an entertainment, 'The First Day of the Holidays', by 'C. A. Pellanus, Junr' [E. G. Swain, Chaplain], performed at the Choir School on 23 Dec. 1902. 3. Manuscript programme, probably in the hand of MRJ, of the entertainment at the 'Bell dinner', to celebrate MRJ's winning a Bell Scholarship in the Lent Term of 1883.
