Content and context

The file contains an autograph letter signed from John Waynflete Carter (signed 'Jake') to Sir Dennis Proctor, 12 July [1968], sending copies of the Gullible Papers to complete his set. Included are printed copies of the Gullible papers Nos 1-6 and a menu for the 38th dinner of the Double Crown Club, 4 May 1933.

These papers were given to King's College by Sir Dennis Proctor on 5 Dec. 1980. They were transferred from the Glanville Room in Aug. 2002.
