Content and context

This series comprises documents related to John Maynard Keynes' duties in the Treasury Office at the end of World War I, and more specifically, to armistice negotiations between the allies and Germany. At the time the documents were generated, Keynes was head of the 'A' Division (February 1917-January 1919), and a British delegate to the Paris Peace Conference.
