Content and context

This file contains autograph manuscript accession lists of works in J.M. Keynes' library. Inserted loose are cuttings, typescript lists and pages torn from booksellers' catalogues and 1 autograph postcard, signed, from J.M. Keynes to Geoffrey Keynes 18 October 1935. Some entries have been annotated by A.N.L. Munby, 1950s. The file also includes three copy prints of entries for Descartes, used to illustrate R.F. Harrod, 'The Life of John Maynard Keynes' (1951), p. 483 (facing).
