This series consists of administrative papers originating from J.M. Keynes' duties while part of the Economic Advisory Council, including many papers concerning related committees.

Correspondence on the activities of the Council and its sub-committees. This file contains exchanges, chiefly with H.D. Henderson, A.C. Pigou, L. Robbins, A. Rose and J. Stamp on such subjects as agricultural depression, public works, causes of unemployment, unemployment benefit, establishment of the Committee of Economists, dispute with Robbins over the wording of the Economists' report, the Committee on the Chinese Situation, 1930, and import duty on gold,1937. It also contains 2 cuttings on the formation of the Council, 1930.
