This is a photocopy of the account written by Frances Partridge's mother, Margaret Anne Marshall, of the early years of her life, her marriage and the birth of her children. It is cited by Anne Chisholm in her book 'Frances Partridge. The Biography' (London, 2009) because it gives valuable background context to the values and characteristics of the Marshall family.

This item was given by Richard Garnett in Sept. 2009.
