This sub-series comprises photocopies, duplicates, and autograph manuscript and typescript transcripts of book reviews, most published within E.M. Forster's lifetime. Some reviews were probably collected by E.M. Forster, others were collected posthumously. Many manuscript copies of reviews written shortly after publication were mounted on lined paper in 1970-1.
Items in this sub-series have been arranged according to the numbers given the works reviewed by B.J. Kirkpatrick in her 'A Bibliography of E.M. Forster' (2nd ed., Oxford, 1985).
