Profile to the left, looking down and laughing at a book in his hands. Taken at Montazag, Alexandria. Two copies, 13.9 x 8.7 and 14.4 x 8.6. EMF/27/991 inscribed on back, by E.M. Forster, 'Montazah c 1917' and EMF/27/992 inscribed on back, by P.N. Furbank, 'Alexandria in 1916 or 17 / Morgan says'. (Sleeve 433)
