Nellie Whichelo in her sitting room, wearing a dark silk dress and loose neckscarf with large white spots on a dark background. 1/2 length, facing the camera, lit brightly from the left. Taken at 22 Werter Road, Putney, London. Mounted on card, 12.8 x 8.9 (photograph 5.8 x 6.1). Inscribed on front of mount, in unidentified hand, 'Over 90'. (Sleeve 273)

This photograph appears to have been taken on the same occasion as EMF/27/700. Inscriptions on that photograph suggest possible dates of 16 Oct. 1952 or Oct. 1953.
