William Plomer is standing on the right, smiling, his left hand holding the edge of a thistle leaf, looking at Christopher Isherwood who is standing on the left. Christopher Isherwood is looking towards E.M. Forster and William Plomer. Taken at Aldeburgh, Suffolk. Print, 19.1 x 16.5. Inscribed on back, by E.M.
