Photograph of an elderly woman [possibly Mrs. Mawe], sitting on the veranda at West Hackhurst. Similar to EMF/27/366, but viewed from further along the path to the right, showing the upper windows of West Hackhurst. Supplied location is Abinger Surrey. Modern print, 10.9 x 6.2. (Sleeve 143)
EMF/27/366-79 are modern reprints made from negatives found in a photographic envelope dated 21 Aug. 1931. (The envelope also contained negatives for EMF/27/552-4.) The views are similar to the series of photographs which E.M. Forster placed in Album Two, and one is a negative of EMF/27/386. The negatives have been removed and placed in the Archivist's office.
